Poverty alleviation is one of the UN Sustainable Development Goals, which remains a challenge for developing countries. This project is about gaining an insight into the measurement and understanding various policy types in developing countries.


As the scholar will be closely guided in researching this topic, no prior knowledge in this particular area is required, apart from the suitability criteria listed below.


Expected outcomes and deliverables:

Scholars will gain skills in data compilation, writing a report and undertaking some empirical analysis.



Suitable for:

Students must have done microeconometrics and used STATA.
