Nudgeathon logoLooking to design a solution using behavioural economics and science?

Nudgeathon 2023 is a behavioural change competition, in which teams develop solutions to real-life social issues. Using principles of behavioural economics and science, teams of 4 will work on a problem brief and present their solutions to a panel of expert judges from academia, government, and industry. It takes place on 26-28 September at QUT.

We are looking to enter a UQ School of Economics Team to compete against other universities.

Prerequisites

To be eligible to compete:

  • Students must be currently enrolled with UQ.
  • Students must have completed ECON2060 or ECON2070 or ECON2012.
  • Open to *postgraduate and undergraduate students.

Applications

Applications will open Tuesday 4 April and close Friday 19 May.
Teams will be announced before Monday 29 May.

Competition dates

The competition period is from Tuesday 26 September to Thursday 28 September 2023 at the Queensland University of Technology, Brisbane. See the Nudgeathon 2023 website for further information.
