About the event

This series is a joint initiative by The University of Queensland & The University of Exeter, and this seminar features two topics of discussion.

Discussion 1 - Income-Poor but Asset Rich: Effects of wealth on older adults’ health care utilization

Research will be presented by UQ's Michelle Tran, with a critical review by discussant Dr Xiaohui Zhang of Exeter.

Discussion 2 - Elective monitoring as a coordination device in collective action problems: Minimising monitoring costs while achieving socially optimal effort​

Research will be presented by Exeter's Ben Balmford, with a critical review by discussant Associate Professor Lana Friesen of UQ. 

This seminar is chaired by Professor Julian Jamison.
