About the conference

The Centre for Efficiency and Productivity Analysis (CEPA) is hosting a two-day conference event. The conference theme will cover cutting edge research in productivity analysis as well as issues of regulation of energy markets, modelling of land and housing, affordability and selected topics in health inequality and productivity.

The conference will see the participation of invited speakers from academia, government organisations, regulators and professional economists. Some of the confirmed participants include the Norwegian and Australian Energy regulators, the Australian Institute of Business and Economics (AIBE), CSIRO, e61, the University of Melbourne and the Vienna University of Economics and Business.

The conference will cover topics that are relevant for policy making and will aim at providing a networking opportunity for regulators, government agencies, academics and independent economists to meet and discuss these topics.

The conference will be held in a hybrid format, with both in-person and online registration options available. Attendance at the conference is complimentary, however you must register to attend.

About CEPA courses and workshops

CEPA short-courses and workshops are aimed at graduate students, researchers, economists, statisticians and consultants from private and public sector organisations. Participants are generally expected to have an understanding of microeconomics and econometrics similar to that of a second or third-year economics undergraduate at an Australian university.
