For the second consecutive year, UQ’s Faculty of Business, Economics and Law (BEL) received outstanding results in the 2016 QS World University Rankings by Subject.
Law and accounting and finance were among the 19 UQ ‘subjects’, or study areas, that ranked inside the global top 50.
Law rose from 49th to 45th in the world, cementing the TC Beirne School of Law’s solid global reputation. Accounting and finance climbed to 26th in the world, showcasing the UQ Business School’s teaching and research strengths in this discipline.
Business and management studies and economics and econometrics both ranked in the 51-100 bracket for 2016.
