The Marsden Jacob Prize In Memory Of Dr Tony Hand

Established in 2010 and maintained by the income of an endowment gift of $25,000 from Marsden Jacob Associates in memory of their colleague and friend Dr Tony Hand, a Doctor of Philosophy in the field of Economics from The University of Queensland.

1. Eligibility for the award

  1. Awarded by the Head, School of Economics.
  2. Students enrolled in the Bachelor of Economics.
  3. Highest mark for first attempt at Environmental Economics (ECON3700).

2. Value of the award 

The Head, School of Economics will determine the value of the prize each year, but will be at least $1,000 but limited to the annual income from the fund.
