Project title The economic value of the participation of women
Project duration 4 weeks
Description The project is to understand how female participation can be measured and valued as it has been grossly underestimated to date. This will relate to specific sectors in the economy. It will require some data collection and analysis.
Expected outcomes and deliverables Students can learn how to critically review literature related to this subject and have an input of their ideas towards a case study on women participation in a particular area. There will be a project report to write up.
Suitable for

This project to open to undergraduate students in their third year or postgraduate students in their final year. No prior knowledge is required for this topic, however knowledge of econometrics is a major plus. 

Students will be closely guided by supervisor.
