From climate change to pandemic planning, healthcare to household finances – the study of economic theory can improve a student’s understanding of the world around us.
Join us for our in-person Schools Day in July and explore what a career in economics could look like for you.
Hosted in collaboration with the Queensland Economics Teachers’ Association (QETA) this annual event explores what economics is, how it works, and why it’s an essential part of our everyday lives.
During this full-day program, our world-class teachers will encourage students to explore the discipline across a range of scenarios, in a friendly and fun environment.
Students will have the opportunity to attend lecture-style presentations, network with other students from around Brisbane, and participate in thought-provoking activities on a myriad of social issues such as sustainability and healthcare.
Whether you’re a current high-school student, parent, or teacher, Schools Day is open to anyone with an interest in economics, or simply a curiosity to learn more about the discipline.
